Abbie is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience. She is the Founder and President of Definite Aim Consulting, located in the San Francisco Bay area.

Prior to launching Definite Aim, Abbie spent 15 years at Health Net, a California health plan, where she led product development, Affordable Care Act implementation and market expansion initiatives in the Commercial line of business. During her tenure at Health Net, she gained a deep understanding of the health insurance landscape and honed her team building, process improvement and business performance management skills. 

Since departing Health Net in 2020, Abbie has been delivering tangible results as a consultant and interim leader, expanding her knowledge by working with clients in the Medicare and Medicaid lines of business.

Throughout her career, Abbie has been recognized for translating strategy and regulatory mandates to executable initiatives. She is also considered a mentor by many and is passionate about supporting people through their personal and professional growth journeys. Abbie’s superpower is her ability to quickly diagnose issues and help clients simplify and solve long-standing problems with her no-nonsense “get it done” approach.  

Abbie was born and raised in the Chicago area and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
